I'm a graduate student in Cultural Anthropology at SUNY at Buffalo, currently working on my dissertation. I have a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Cultural Studies and an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology. Academically, I'm interested in the anthropology of religion, traditional healing, popular culture studies, fanthropology, mythology, sign language, anthropological linguistics, and queer studies. Outside of academia, I enjoy creative writing, reading fanfiction, painting, watching anime, reading manga, playing video games, forensics tv shows, science fiction and fantasy novels, sewing, and cooking.
